How we collect your personal data:
You may give us data orally or by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email, social media or otherwise, for example when you:

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to, and only where we believe we have a legitimate interest to do so, which includes; If you are an existing customer of Shorefield Holidays and / or a user of our services, we have a legitimate interest in storing your provided customer data, and also providing you with relevant information and marketing information on our products and services. We, of course, respect your right to privacy and you can opt out at any time as detailed further in this policy.

Visitors to our website:
If we want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this, such as making a booking or completing a form. When someone visits our website, we may use a third-party service to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We may record your session using Hotjar analytics; no personal information such as payment details, email address, address, or name will be displayed or recorded.

Our website may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins and applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements. When you leave our website, we encourage you to read the privacy notice of every website you visit.
If you fail to provide personal data:
If you do not provide personal data to us and this would prevent us from performing the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you, or place us in breach of the law, we may have to cancel our contract. We will notify you if this is the case.

It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

Your legal rights:
You have the legal right to:
- Request access to your personal data (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
- Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.
- Request erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.

You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. We do not knowingly collect data relating to children, for any promotional or marketing purposes.
- No fee usually required You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
- We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.
- We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
Telephone calls:
Please note that calls to and from Shorefield Holidays and all individual departments, including Reservations, Holiday Home Sales, licensed clubs, Events, Day Spa and Health and Fitness clubs and the central switchboard may be monitored and recorded. The purpose of which is for training, quality and content clarification.
Photography:
Please be advised that promotional photographs and videos may be taken around our parks, including during the entertainment and activities events. They are for use on our website, social media, in the press, and for marketing materials.
- By entering our parks and venues, you consent to Shorefield Holidays photographing and using your image and likeness.

- _ga: Identifies unique users by assigning a randomly generated number. It is used to calculate visitor, session and campaign data for the sites analytics reports. It is set to expire after 2 years.

Google Information may be collected from accounts of signed-in users who have consented to this association for the purpose of ads personalisation.
Some Google information may include end user location, search history, YouTube history and data from sites that partner with Google – and is used to provide aggregated and anonymised insights into our users' cross device behaviours. An analytics platform that is used to measure response to TV advertising.
- __adal_ca: Traffic source/campaign data. Stores which advertising campaign drove a user to visit.
- __adal_cw: Visit timestamp. Ties back conversion events to earlier visits.
- __adal_id: Device ID (generated). Uniquely identify a device.
General Cookies:
- _atssc: Stores information about the visitor from the registration forms on the site. This cookie expires in 14 days.
- atuvc & atuvs: Associated with AddThis, which allows users to share content from the website. Expires after 2 years.
- _distillery: Tracks video views across multiple sessions. Expires in one year.
- Heroku and CraftCMS: This cookie is associated with the Heroku and CraftCMS web management system and is used to maintain user sessions between pages.
- user_likes: This cookie is used to show the items users have shown an interest in most.
