"We cannot wait to move in"
We arrived at the park and were given a very warm and friendly greeting by Todd and Wesley who were very polite and welcoming. We were very impressed with the layout of the lodge park with homes set at different angles which made it feel very spacious. By the end of the day we had brought our dream lodge on a marvellous plot. Wesley helped us to design the Omar Ikon lodge with the items that we wanted bespoke, he went through this in great detail and was extremely patient with us. The lodge is now being built and we cannot wait to move in once it is sited. We would like to say a huge thank you to Wesley who guided us through this whole process. (He) is certainly a huge credit to Merley Court and we appreciate everything he has done for us. We look forward to being a resident this year at Merley Court (2026).

If you are considering downsizing, and thinking of buying a (Residential) Park Home, do pay a visit to Merley Court. Phase 1 in progress, beautifully situated on the outskirts of Wimborne, very easy access to the A31 and lovely coastal locations, also New Forest not far away. This new park offers different size pitches, and a choice of new homes, making it quite unique. We were welcomed by two very friendly and knowledgeable sales consultants, Todd Lowe and Wesley Brown who answered all our questions, and had time for us. Would highly recommend a visit soon.

All of our homes are UK built and will be BS: 3632 standard, so will come with a 10 year Insurance backed guarantee on the structure, just like a new build house.

A BS:3632 residentially built home can last decades with proper care and maintenance. According to Goldshield Warranty, a new residential park home could last between 70 – 80 years when correctly maintained.

As our residential park homes are classed as 'mobile homes/chattels', they are exempt from needing an Energy Performance Certificate.

As you will own your home but not the land on which it is situated, a monthly site fee is payable to the park operator for leasing the pitch. For the 2025/2026 period, the site fee is £304.70 per calendar month. This fee is subject to an annual review, and Shorefield may adjust it in line with the Consumer Prices Index (CPI). There is no separate service charge applicable.

Every plot will be sold with a substantial 6 x 8 shed offering plenty of storage. These are to be built of non-combustible materials to ensure full compliance with fire safety regulations.
